I'm a biologist with a master’s degree in Natural Resources and Ecology from UFSCar, with over a decade of experience in field studies. I have extensive expertise in bird monitoring and surveys, collecting data that supports scientific research and biodiversity conservation.

As an ornithologist, I have a deep connection with birdwatching and occasionally work as a birdwatching guide, leading outings in both natural and urban settings. I believe that connecting people with birds is a powerful way to raise environmental awareness and foster appreciation for Brazil’s wildlife.

Beyond research, I am actively involved in environmental education projects, using scientific illustration as a tool for awareness and learning. I create bird illustrations using techniques such as gouache, acrylic, and colored pencils, which are applied to educational panels, field guides, books, and artistic products like paintings and mugs—promoting the beauty and importance of native species.

I am the author of My First Birdwatching Notes – A Children’s Guide to Birdwatching, aimed at children and young people to encourage the practice of birdwatching and appreciation of Brazilian species from an early age. I also served as author and illustrator of The Amazing Frogs of Brazil, a playful and educational book that showcases the diversity and fascinating facts about these amphibians.
